Where Can I Purchase Tickets For The Boat Rides?

You can buy tickets for the boat ride (Gran Aventura) in advance at our website www.iguazujugle.com or at our different offices within the Iguazu National Park (Gran Aventura / Paseo Ecológico / Travesía Iguazú).

Do the boat rides run every day?

Yes, Everyday year round, upon the navegability conditions of the Iguazú river.

Are the tickets for the National Park and transportation to it, included in the price?

The entrance fee to the National Park and the transfer to it are not included in the boat ride’s ticket.

When is the best time to ride Gran Aventura?

We recommend to do the Gran Aventura at morning time (9:00 AM, 10:15 AM, 11:30 AM) then, after the tour, you´ll feel free to follow the National Park´s circuits.

Where does it finish Travesía Iguazú?

The Travesía Iguazú finishes at the Port of Puerto Iguazú, therefore those that drove their cars to the National Park won't be able to join Travesía since there is no chance to enter the Park at that time of the day.

Do the tours have boarding restrictions?

The Gran Aventura demands skills that IMPLY LIMITATIONS TO ACCESSS IT. Here are exposed in a general manner the capabilities needed under normal conditions and to cope an emergency:

  • Have full autonomy.
  • Withstand impacts and other sudden movements.
  • Going up and down to 300 mts of stairs.
  • Climbing and clinging  to rocks with upper and lower limbs.
  • Achieve balance on uneven surfaces and leverage with both feet.
  • Listen, see and understand rescue instructions.
  • Verbally describe your status and location.
  • Relay rescue instructions to other passengers
  • Transship to another boat.
  • Hold your breath under the mist of the falls.
  • Stand high acute stress.

Therefore for safety reasons people who have the following  permanent or temporary limitations will be not permitted from making  the excursion with the clear purpose of avoiding worse from happening to the people involved;  the rest of the passengers and the crew:

  • People with motor and visceral disabilities.
  • People with visual and hearing impairment.
  • Pregnant women and children under 12 years old.
  • People with cognitive disabilities.

The Paseo Ecológico has no Boarding Restrictions.
Pregnant women and people with reduced mobility are not allowed to ride the Travesía Iguazú.

What is the mínimum age to ride the Gran Aventura?

Children must be 12 years old to ride the Gran Aventura. Original Passport or ID will be requested before and during the tour. Pictures, screenprints, copies or similar are not accepted.

Am I going to get wet during the Gran Aventura?

During the Gran Aventura you’ll get completely wet.

Are ponchos or any rain gear included with the boat ride?

Ponchos or similar rain gear are not included with the boat ride.

How can I protect my belongings If I’ll get soaked?

We’ll borrow you dry bags to protect your personal belongings during the boat part of the Gran Aventura.

What if it rains, will the tours get cancelled?

The boat rides wont get cancelled when it rains. Since we are at Rainforest, having rain is normal.

What if I can't do the tour?

If you can´t do the tour you can reschedule it or ask for the refund.

Do you accept credit card?

You can pay with your credit card.

What do you recommend to bring to the boat rides?

We recommend bringing sun screen, a hat, an insect repellent and fresh water. Also, we recommend to wear light clothing, and a backpack with a change of cloth.
